Check out Fairburn Farmstays website:
If you are driving down, we recommend taking the ferry from Vancouver to Nanaimo.
If you are flying, we recommend that you also fly to Nanaimo. If you have already booked and are flying to Victoria, that works too. This will be the long weekend and the Malahat (the highway mountain you go through to get to Duncan) will be bogged down with the Long Weekend Campers. It starts getting busy on the Friday.

Tripadvisor Reviews of Hotels & B&B’s-Website
Info: don’t be fooled by the website, this motel is the Number 1 hotel in Duncan by TripAdvisor reviews. They have renovated quite a few suites and are a really great price. This hotel is only a 16 mins drive away to the Ceremony/Reception site. Use the code: McBorne Wedding to get the following rates:
1 Queen 1-2 ppl $82
2 Queen 2 ppl $92
2 Queen 3 ppl $99
2 Queen 4 ppl $108
2. Best Western Cowichan Valley Inn UPDATE: this hotel is fully booked for another wedding that weekend!
There are lots of B&B’s around the area. I’ve picked out the two that are the closest to the Ceremony/Reception site. I do not have a wedding code for any B&B’s.
Info: this B&B is about a 18 mins drive to the Ceremony/Reception site and about 6 mins to the Thunderbird motel where we might have a bus to pick up guests to bring guests to the Ceremony/Reception site.
Info: this B&B is about a 17 mins drive to the Ceremony/Reception site and 5 mins to the Thunderbird Motel.
